Independent study material. This bank contains original questions written from the official PeopleCert ITIL 4 Foundation candidate syllabus v4.2.0, not real exam content. The official syllabus weights the seven learning outcomes 12.5/15/5/2.5/5/17.5/42.5 percent, which is 5/6/2/1/2/7/17 marks of 40. A straight proportional split of 250 questions would give outcomes 3, 4 and 5 only 13, 6 and 13 questions, which is too few to revise from, so they are raised to a floor of 14, 12 and 14. The 9 extra questions are paid for by reducing the largest outcome, so outcome 7 drops from 105 to 97 and sits at 38.8 percent of this bank against its 42.5 percent exam weight. The editorial practice allocation is therefore 31/38/14/12/14/44/97. This deviation is deliberate in both directions. Plan your revision using the official 12.5/15/5/2.5/5/17.5/42.5 weights rather than these question counts. ITIL 4 is a different syllabus from ITIL Version 5: ITIL 4 uses the Service Value System and a six-activity Service Value Chain, where Version 5 uses the ITIL Value System and an eight-activity ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle. If you are booked on the Version 5 exam, use the ITIL Foundation (Version 5) bank instead. PeopleCert has announced that ITIL 4 modules retire on 31 December 2027.
