Domain Breakdown
| Domain | Questions |
|---|---|
| Contracts Management | 125 |
| Stakeholder Engagement | 75 |
| Strategy and Scope Management | 38 |
| Project Governance | 12 |
Aligned to PMI's published four-domain Examination Content Outline for the PMI Construction Professional, February 2024 edition: Contracts Management 50%, Stakeholder Engagement 30%, Strategy and Scope Management 15% and Project Governance 5%. Our 250-question allocation is 125/75/38/12, holding every domain within 0.2 points of its official weight. Domain 4 is deliberately left at 12 questions rather than padded to a larger minimum, because padding a 5% domain up to roughly 16% would misrepresent the exam and take questions away from contracts management, which is half of it. Two things are worth knowing before you buy. First, PMI publishes only three bare task statements for Project Governance and no enabling tasks at all, so that domain is written against the governance surface those tasks imply, such as decision rights, sponsor and steering roles, stage gates and delegated authority over change. Second, PMI's own outline prints the Domain III Task 1 title identically to a Domain II task and repeats one task statement verbatim in Domains III and IV; we have authored to the enabling tasks rather than to the mis-copied titles, and split the repeated statement so that scope tools sit in Domain III and the governance of scope sits in Domain IV. Construction subject matter also appears in the PMP exam, but there it is one application area among many; this bank works from the built-environment seat, asking what happens to the contract, the claim or the interface rather than what a generic project manager decides next. These are original selected-response questions, not a reproduction of every official item format.
