| Testing Provider | Project Management Institute (PMI) |
| Validity | Maintain the credential through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements: 30 PDUs in each 3-year cycle. |
| Prerequisites | PMI offers three eligibility routes and does not mandate an accredited training provider: contact hours in project scheduling education may come from a range of providers, and PMI states that it accepts hours spent in training for Microsoft Project and for other scheduling tools. The routes are a secondary diploma with project scheduling experience and 40 contact hours; a bachelor's degree or global equivalent with 24 months of experience and 30 contact hours; or a degree from a GAC-accredited programme with 12 months of experience and 30 contact hours. PMI's own sources differ on two details: its certification page and its downloadable handbook give different experience requirements for the secondary-diploma route, and the handbook's eligibility table and the note beneath it give different contact-hour figures for the GAC route. Check PMI's current eligibility rules before applying; this practice bank does not provide qualifying contact hours. |

Aligned to PMI's published five-domain Examination Content Outline for the PMI Scheduling Professional: Schedule Strategy 14%, Schedule Planning and Development 31%, Schedule Monitoring and Controlling 35%, Schedule Closeout 6% and Stakeholder Communications Management 14%. Our 250-question allocation is 35/77/88/15/35, which holds every domain within 0.2 points of its official weight. Domain 4 is deliberately left at 15 questions rather than being padded to a larger minimum, because padding it would misrepresent a 6% domain as roughly 10% and would take questions away from the two domains that are two thirds of the real exam. Note the vintage: the outline's body carries a 2012 copyright with a later cover reprint, making this PMI's least refreshed active blueprint, and the outline states that its role delineation panel was not bound by the Practice Standard for Scheduling or the PMBOK Guide. This bank therefore tests scheduling practice in edition-neutral language rather than assuming any particular PMBOK edition's vocabulary. Scheduling also appears inside the CAPM and PMP exams, but those treat it as one knowledge area among many; this bank works from the scheduler's seat, asking what happens to the schedule model rather than what the project manager decides next. These are original selected-response questions, not a reproduction of every official item format.
