Guided · A Guide to Cloud
You've paid, you have a licence key, and you want all the questions. This takes about 30 seconds. Here's exactly where to click — on a computer and on a phone.
GD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.1. Your key is not in the Stripe receipt — it's in a separate email from Guided.
2. If your email asks you to use the "orange activation box" (we sent that wording up to 25 August 2026), ignore it — there is no orange box on the website. That orange panel is in the email itself, and it's simply where your key is displayed. On the site you're looking for the box marked "Already purchased?" just under the Flashcards row. Sorry for the confusion — that wording has now been corrected.
After you pay, we send you a separate email containing your key. Search your inbox for:
| Search for | What to look for |
|---|---|
| From | noreply@aguidetocloud.com (sender name: Guided) |
| Subject | Your licence key for … — e.g. "Your licence key for AI-200 Practice Exam — 1 Year Access" |
| In the email | A large orange panel headed YOUR LICENCE KEY |
The key inside that panel looks like this:
Check Spam and — in Gmail — the Promotions tab. Searching from:aguidetocloud.com finds it fastest. Note the Stripe receipt is a different email and does not contain the key.
Use the Start Practicing button in the same email, or go to the exam page and open Practice.
It sits directly below the Flashcards row and above Quiz Options. Click Activate licence key → on the right of that box.
A box opens with a field marked GD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Paste your key and click Activate. Capitals and dashes are handled for you.
It reads "Key is in your Guided email from aguidetocloud.com — not the Stripe receipt." That's the email described in Step 1.
You should see a green row: ✓ All <N> questions unlocked. The Domain dropdown also jumps from "All (20)" to the full count, and 50 and All appear under Session length.
That button is part of the page header and doesn't change after you activate — it is not a sign that activation failed. Trust the green "All <N> questions unlocked" row instead.
The green row tells you the whole bank is yours. Session length, just under it, decides how many of those questions come up in one sitting — that is what the Start button counts.
If Start still reads Start · 20 questions, nothing is wrong and nothing is locked. Click 50 or All under Session length and Start updates straight away. You can change it before every sitting.
Exactly the same four steps, just stacked vertically.
Scroll a little past the Flashcards row.
Marker 2 is the key field. Marker 3 is the Activate button.
Marker 4 confirms you're unlocked.
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| "I can't find the orange box to enter my key" | There isn't one on the website. The orange box is in your email — it's where the key is shown. On the site, look for the box marked "Already purchased?" just below the Flashcards row, and click Activate licence key → (Step 2 above). |
| "Licence key not found" | Almost always a typo. Copy and paste the key straight from the email rather than retyping. Check you haven't picked up a trailing space. |
| "Invalid licence key format" | The key must be GD- followed by three groups of four, e.g. GD-ABCD-1234-EFGH. Paste the whole thing including GD-. |
| "This key has reached its 3-device limit" | Each key works on 3 devices. Email us and we'll reset it. |
| "This licence key has expired" | Access runs 12 months from purchase. Email us if you think that's wrong. |
| I don't see the "Already purchased?" box at all | That box is hidden when you're already unlocked on that browser — look for the green "All <N> questions unlocked" row instead. It's also hidden on free exams, which need no key. |
| It worked yesterday, now I'm locked again | Access is stored in your browser. Clearing site data, or using a private / incognito window, wipes it. Just re-enter the key — usually this won't use up one of your 3 activations, because we recognise the same device. |
| I want it on my laptop and my phone | Enter the same key on each device. You get 3. |
| I paid but never got the email | Check Spam and Gmail's Promotions tab, search from:aguidetocloud.com. Still nothing — email us with the address you paid with and we'll resend it. |
There's no sign-up, no password. Your licence key is your access — keep the email and you can restore it any time.
