About the current PMP exam
PMP tests how you lead projects, make delivery decisions and respond to the business around the project. Knowing the name of a document or technique is only the starting point: you also need to decide what to do with the evidence, who has authority, and which action comes next.
This independent practice bank follows the July 2026 exam generation, using PMI’s Examination Content Outline revised 11 August 2026. It contains 250 original selected-response questions across predictive, adaptive and hybrid situations. These are not official PMI questions, recalled exam questions or copies of vendor sample questions.
Check the version before you study. The current domain weights are People 33%, Process 41% and Business Environment 26%. Check older preparation material against this outline rather than assuming it still covers the current exam.
Who is PMP for?
PMP is intended for people with project leadership experience. Eligibility depends on your education, qualifying non-overlapping experience and project management education. Check PMI’s current PMP requirements before buying training or booking the exam.
The outline requires 35 hours of eligible project management education unless you hold an active CAPM certification. PMI has also published a change to eligible live instructor-led training providers from 1 December 2026; do not assume that a course you find online satisfies the rules.
This practice bank is revision material. It provides no qualifying training hours, exam voucher or certification, and practice exams alone do not satisfy PMI’s education requirement.

Domains and practice coverage
Use the official weights to plan your revision, not the number of questions in an individual practice session.
| Domain | Official exam weight | Practice questions |
|---|---|---|
| People | 33% | 82 |
| Process | 41% | 103 |
| Business Environment | 26% | 65 |
| Total | 100% | 250 |
The 82/103/65 split rounds the official weights to a 250-question revision bank; the tied rounding remainder goes to Process. It does not change PMI’s weights. The bank’s mix of 200 single-answer questions and 50 select-two questions is an editorial study choice, not PMI’s published item-type distribution.
People covers project vision, conflict, leadership, engagement, expectations, knowledge transfer and communication. Process covers integration, scope, value, resources, procurement, finance, quality, schedule, project information and closure. Business Environment covers governance, compliance, change, issues, risk, improvement and organizational and external change.

Every question includes an explanation, a hint, reasons the other choices are wrong, a study tip, a practical note and a public-source reference. Multiple-response questions in this bank use four choices and ask you to select exactly two. That is this product’s format, not a claim about how many choices PMI presents.
This is selected-response revision, not a full simulation of the PMP exam. PMI’s outline also describes case/scenario, graphic-based, matching and drag-and-drop, enhanced matching, point-and-click, pull-down and practicum formats. This bank uses written scenarios with answer choices; it does not implement the graphical, interactive or hands-on formats. Some of PMI’s formats are available only with computer-based testing.
Use the explanations to check your reasoning: what fact ruled out a tempting alternative, what authority was needed, and why the timing mattered. A practice result is not a guarantee of your official exam result.
