About the PMI-ACP Exam

Independent original PMI-ACP concept and application practice aligned to PMI’s current four-domain Examination Content Outline, inspected September 2026. Four-option questions include explanations, wrong-answer reasoning and public-source references.
Who Should Take This Exam?
The PMI-ACP is designed for scrum masters, agile coaches, product owners, delivery leads and project managers already working on agile teams. It validates applied judgement across the range of approaches PMI’s outline covers — Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean and hybrid delivery — rather than fluency in any single framework.
Prerequisites: PMI’s current outline requires a secondary qualification, 21 hours of formal agile training and agile team experience. The experience route is 2 years of general project experience within the past 5 years plus agile team experience, with alternative routes for a GAC-accredited degree, an existing third-party agile certification or an active PMP. Check PMI’s current eligibility rules; this practice bank does not provide qualifying training hours.

💡 Study tip: Mindset and Delivery tie as the heaviest domains (28% each) — together they are more than half the exam, so ground yourself there first: agile values and principles, servant leadership behaviours, and the flow, estimation and iteration mechanics teams actually run. Leadership (25%) rewards scenario practice in coaching, conflict handling and stakeholder engagement. Product (19%) is the smallest domain but the most concept-dense — value-driven delivery, backlog refinement, prioritisation and incremental validation are all heavily tested.
