About ITIL Product (Version 5)
Prepare for digital products and services, the eight lifecycle activities of discover, design, acquire, build, transition, operate, deliver and support, and the ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle.
This independent revision bank follows the official PeopleCert ITIL Product (Version 5) syllabus. Its 250 original questions are written against the published learning outcomes and assessment criteria. They are not real exam questions, and no vendor sample questions or text from the ITIL core publication is reproduced.
Read this before you buy. Three things about this bank are worth knowing up front.
- It is a revision bank, not a simulation of the real exam. Use it to rehearse the material and find your gaps, not to predict your score.
- It does not cover the whole syllabus. PeopleCert publishes 76 assessment criteria. We could ground 58 of them in public sources and left the other 18 alone rather than inventing content for them.
- It leans toward explaining ideas rather than applying them. PeopleCert’s own split is 65 percent explain and 35 percent apply. Some questions also test a fact you have already been asked in different words: we read 598 candidate pairs by hand and confirmed 114 of them overlap.
Who should take this exam?
ITIL Product (Version 5) is an intermediate module for people who already work on digital products and services, typically with 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience.
You cannot simply book this exam, and that is the part most likely to cost you. PeopleCert requires an existing ITIL 4 certification, ITIL Foundation (Version 5) or ITIL Foundation Bridge (Version 5). On top of that, you must complete training through an Accredited Training Organization or official ITIL eLearning — PeopleCert states that exam results will not be released without proof of completion. Digital products and services and the ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle are tied as the heaviest categories at 15% each, so start there. Four categories are tied at the bottom on 7.5% — transition, operate, deliver and support — and none of them is outside the syllabus. The practice allocation gives the smaller categories proportionally more questions than their weight implies, so there is enough material to revise them. It is a study allocation, not a prediction of the question mix on your exam.
