About ITIL Experience (Version 5)
Prepare for the four experience domains, capturing and acting on experience evidence, and the seven-step service journey from explore through to reflect.
This independent revision bank follows the official PeopleCert ITIL Experience (Version 5) syllabus, version 5.0 of March 2026. Its 250 original questions are written against the published learning outcomes and assessment criteria. They are not real exam questions, and no vendor sample questions or text from the ITIL core publication is reproduced.
Read this before you buy. Three things about this bank are worth knowing up front.
- It is a revision bank, not a stand-in for the real paper. It runs untimed: 250 scenario questions against a real exam of 40 questions in 90 minutes. Use it to rehearse the material and find your gaps, not to predict your score.
- It does cover the whole published syllabus. PeopleCert publishes 43 assessment criteria for this module. All 43 are covered, and every question is traceable to one.
- A fact-level duplicate checker proposed 6,302 pairs, and those were not read individually. That checker pairs any two questions that share a citation, and every question here cites the same single source, so it flagged every pair inside a domain rather than anything about the questions themselves. None were flagged as sharing an answer. A separate wording-based scan did find 5 genuine repeats, and those were rewritten rather than left in.
Who should take this exam?
ITIL Experience (Version 5) is an intermediate module for people who already work on service and customer experience, typically with 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience.
You cannot simply book this exam, and that is the part most likely to cost you. PeopleCert requires ITIL Foundation (Version 5) first. On top of that, you must complete training through an Accredited Training Organization or official ITIL eLearning — PeopleCert states that exam results will not be released without proof of completion. The cheapest listed option, US$865 including VAT, is marked by PeopleCert as being for re-takes only, so a first-time sitter is realistically looking at the US$1,338 eLearning bundle or the US$1,647 eLearning + bundle. Price that route up before you start studying.
Note also that ITIL Version 5 is a different syllabus from ITIL 4. Material written for ITIL 4 will not on its own prepare you for this module.

Service journey is the heaviest category at 35%, so start there. A straight proportional split of 250 questions would have left the two smallest categories — ITIL and other frameworks, and Key ITIL terms and definitions — with only 6 and 19 questions, which is too thin to revise a category from. Each was raised to 22 and the extra taken from the two largest, which remain the two largest. Your practice mix is therefore slightly flatter than the real paper. It is a study allocation, not a prediction of the question mix on your exam.

Because the real exam is open book and anchored on a scenario, look-up recall makes a poor question. Every one of these 250 questions carries an original workplace scenario, and the difficulty split is 73 easier, 122 moderate and 55 harder. This bank runs untimed and does not stand in for the real exam sitting. The real paper is 40 questions in 90 minutes with a pass mark of 70 percent; this bank is 250 questions built for revision, so a percentage here is not a readiness score.
